Cancellation Policy

This Cancellation Policy explains what happens to your credits when you cancel a booked live tutor lesson on FluentAI, or when your tutor cancels on you. It is separate from our Refund Policy, which covers refunds for credit purchases themselves rather than cancelled bookings.

If you cancel

Cancel 12 hours or more before your lesson's start time and you receive a full refund of the credits spent on that booking. Cancel less than 12 hours before the start time and you receive a 50% refund; the remaining credits are paid to your tutor for the reserved time. You can cancel a booking at any time from your dashboard — the refund is calculated automatically and credited back to your account immediately.

If your tutor cancels

If your tutor cancels a confirmed lesson for any reason, you receive a full refund of the credits spent on that booking, regardless of how close to the start time the cancellation happens. Tutors who cancel three or more confirmed lessons within any rolling 90-day window are automatically flagged for admin review, which may affect their ability to keep accepting new bookings.

No-shows

If either you or your tutor does not join the session within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time, the other party may mark the session as a no-show. If your tutor no-shows, contact support@fluentai.space with your booking details and we will refund the credits for that session. Repeated no-shows by a tutor are treated the same as repeated cancellations for review purposes.

Session packs

Session packs (multi-lesson bundles) follow the same per-lesson cancellation terms above for any individual lesson you have already scheduled within the pack. Unscheduled sessions remaining in a pack are covered by our Refund Policy, not this page.
